Cloverfield Music

Tom Cloverfield is musician, composer, DJ and producer who became an important figure in the world of house and chillout music on the German electronic music scene. Meanwhile his songs are played by radio stations and famous clubs all over the world.

He releases his work through his own label, Ultrasonic Music Germany.

After a handful of well-received singles his full length debut album E-Talk was released in 2009. The next albums Universe and Sunny followed 2010, Jewels For Ibiza was released 2011. His tracks Aqua Azurra, in the electro house genre, and Karboon, in the techhouse genre were recommended byJuno Download, London UK.

Tom prefers to have richness and emotional texture in his tunes, thus creating hypnotic and sexy electronic music.

Cloverfield was born in Nürnberg ,Germany, in 1966, and began studying the piano when he was four. From this moment on it was clear: Music will be his passion number one forever. “I don’t do music to be recognized,” Tom says. “I do it because it’s necessary for me.”

The newest project is SIRENHOUSE:

Sirenhouse is a studio project founded 2011 in Germany by Kim Siren and Tom Cloverfield.

Both artists are well known for their solo works: Kim as harp player and singer songwriter with her SirenSongs and Tom as engineer, producer and composer of House, Electro and Chillout.

Sirenhouse provides with its charming mix of Kim´s amazing vocals and the electronic beats and cutting edge syntheziser sounds by Tom a completely new sound experience: Worldmusic Meets House.

At the age of four years Tom Cloverfield attended Classical Piano school and did more musical studies until 1988. At twenty, he left classical music, and began playing dixieland, pop and rock in several CoverBands, touring through out Germany and Switzerland. After the Tour-Years he discovered his passion for the electronic and experimental music. He wanted to create a different sound never heard before. So he started an additional career as a Solo Studio Artist. Since 2000 he did a lot of studio works, but no releases were published until 2009.

The years passed, the technology grew faster and finally he discovered his technology which gave him the sound he was all the time searching.

His first release was published in the summer of 2009, and the first Clubs played his music. He was himself never seen as a DJ in a club. He creates his music always in the studio, because his arrangements and electronic instruments (mostly software based synths) are too complex for solo live perfomances, He is often asked to play at clubs, but the time seems not ripe yet.

In the meantime some of his early tracks found its way on the first longplay album E-Talk released in December 2009. On this album you can hear 9 electro and experimental tracks, some tracks are made with really nice experimental software synthesizers, based on Reaktor and Absynth.

Sometimes you can hear some additional acoustic instruments squeezed through heavy filters.

The next Maxi releases followed in rather short sequence, some tracks are more progressive house, some tracks are very experimental, and some are chillout tunes. His lounge and chillout tunes can be found under HOT ICE PROJECT. In 2009 he founded his own label ULTRASONIC Germany.

His HEATWAVE, released in the summer of 2009, can be found in the recommendations (October) and bestselling charts electro at junodownload.com, the best DJ record store 2007, 2008 and 2009. Some tracks are published exclusively here.

Today you can find more than 50 tracks of Cloverfield and HOT ICE PROJECT anywhere in the world wide web, most popular in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, and the USA. Cloverfield has also played in web radios all over the world. His second longplay album UNIVERSE with 13 new house, progressive and electro tracks has been released on March 1, 2010.

The third longplay album SUNNY is available since May 1, 2010.
