Hello,

My name is Cheng Lip Kiong and I am from Kuching, Sarawak. I am currently the Associate Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church which I grew up spiritually when I joined this church when I was a teenager. That would be around the year 1977.

I love music. God has wired me to be a musician and a psalmist for Him. In fact when I first joined the Interschool Christian Fellowship during my secondary years at St. Thomas’s Sec School, the instrument that awakens me musically was the guitar.

Though I was not a Christian then, I often went to the ISCF because I loved to listen to the guitar and would try to get my chance to play with it for a while. Praise God that I came to know Him as my Lord and personal Savior during a combined evangelistic meeting in our school Then God planted me in Emmanuel Baptist Church and I had opportunities to lead worship using the hymns, scripture in Songs and now the current contemporary Christian songs of our time.

I am currently the Worship Pastor and the songs in my CD album are just a few of them that God has inspired me to write for my church.

God has also given me numerous opportunities to lead in praise and worship for a number of church combined meetings in Kuching.
