These 5 teenagers, combine their immense talent, with a diverse array of music influences, to bring you a unique, melody driven, radio friendly, alt/ pop/rock sound, known as CHEATING DAYLIGHT!
It has been an award winning year for the band, as the prestigious LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS, named cheating daylight, the 2011 “POWER POP…BAND of the YEAR…and they performed LIVE at the 21st annual red carpet event, held at the historic AVALON, in Hollywood, California, in late 2011. The 22nd annual red carpet industry event also announced, the band has been nominated for 2012 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR and 2012 SHOWCASE ARTIST of the YEAR. Rainbo Records, an iconic and historic music manufacturer, produced a compilation CD entitled “THE BEST of 2011”, and out of 100,000 songs submitted, they selected CHEATING DAYLIGHT’S song, PHOTOGRAPHS DON’T LIE to appear on their collector’s item, compilation CD.
The awards continue to come in for the band…as the ALL INDIE MUSIC AWARDS nominated CHEATING DAYLIGHT as 2012 “ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR” and 2012 “POP ARTIST of the YEAR” and invited them to their red carpet award show, to be held in Hollywood in 2012.
And now…the new record, “ALL WE KNOW” is about to hit the streets. The album is produced by industry veteran, Isha Erskine, whose legendary work includes Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas, Jeff Beck, Macy Gray, Joss Stone to name a few…while also working with iconic producers and mixers such as legendary icons… Mutt Lange & Mike Shipley. “ALL WE KNOW” is due to be released on May 1st, 2012, and the first two singles, “ALL I KNOW” and “ THREE LITTLE WORDS”, are currently available on music portals throughout the world wide web!
Jesse Crosson, Kyle Crosson, and Jaden Crosson, grew up in Vacaville, California, and began performing at an early age. Their love of music & family, led them to form a band…The Crosson Brothers!
The Crosson Brothers toured throughout California in 2009 and 2010, taking time out to record their debut album, LIGHTS OUT. The record was co-produced in Los Angeles at R.A.G. Studios, by the award winning producer Robin DiMaggio, of “Lopez Tonight” fame. The album has received rave reviews, and the CD is currently available in music stores and on itunes.
Jacob Gill, and Connor Gill, grew up on Cobb Mountain, and attend Middletown High School in Northern California. In 2009, Jacob was playing in a band named String Theory, when The Lost Boys called and asked if he wanted to join them. He arrived in time to tour extensively with the award winning, teenage rock band, playing hundreds of dates throughout North America. In late 2010, his brother Connor was invited to perform with the band, and did so until the band’s breakup in early 2011. During that time The Lost Boys won numerous awards, including 2010 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Los Angeles Music Awards, 2011 National ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Phoenix Music Awards, and 2010 Independent Artist of the Year, at the D.I.Y. Music Festival. The band also released their 3rd album, RUNNING RED LIGHTS, produced by Multi-Platinum, Multi-Grammy Award winner, David Kershenbaum. The record was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2011 Los Angeles Music Awards, and is currently available at Best Buy Stores, and on the world wide web!
As CHEATING DAYLIGHT launches onto the national music scene, in support of the new record, “ALL WE KNOW”, their tour by the same name ALL WE KNOW…TOUR 2012, will keep them on the road most of the year. Stay tuned…they are young…they are restless…they are ready to ROCK!
