I began playing music on the trumpet right around 8th grade, and played in high school bands until college. From there I studied music composition and performance (trumpet) at FSU and afterward, toured the Florida Gulf Coast with a blues rock, original band called Perfect Fifth. We played a 50/50 mix of original songs and cover tunes to the fun loving, boisterous people who live and work along the Florida Gulf Coast.
Today I am writing and recording my own songs. Usually it's just me on all the parts, but occasionally I am lucky to have guest performers like Stephen Williams of Great White. Stephen wrote the triple platinum Great White hit "Save Your Love," and he was good enough to lend his ear to my tune "Waitin' for the Mountain." His super smooth steel guitar track in "Waitin' for the Mountain" adds just the perfect touch of laziness to a song dedicated to the art of relaxation.
In case any agents drop by, I am open to the idea of licensing my songs to established artists.
