Boom V was born Henry St. Hilaire Jr. of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on February 22, 1970. His father was a musician who owned a band and night club. So at an early age Boom was exposed to a variety of music. Of all the different genres of music that was introduced to him there was something unique about the reggae rhythm; from Yellow Man to Bob Marley it was all awesome and inspiring.
