Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the UK. Blake began his solo career in 2006, having previously fronted indie rock band Karmatruffle, signed to the Ectomusic label. Blake’s musical influences include The Beatles, The Bevis Frond, Danny Kirwan, Richard Thompson, Elliott Smith and Hamell On Trial. Writing at a prolific rate, Blake has released ten albums in six years. His new LP, ‘Stay Human’, is being released on 208 Records on 15th April 2012, the first anniversary of the death of Italian peace activist Vittorio Arrigoni, killed in the Gaza Strip, to whom it is dedicated.
