Birgit is a songwriter from Vancouver Island BC who’s soulful lyrics and haunting melodies have poised her on the edge of a break out in the Canadian Music Scene. Having released her 3rd CD “I Feel A River”, Birgit has been playing shows to add to her already impressive list of appearances across Canada and parts of the US.

Having performed as a solo artist for a number of years, Birgit’s folk-roots style has garnered her airplay on radio and TV including live performance feature at the Mod Club in Toronto recorded by MuchMusic. She has also been the subject of interview on CBC radio one program North by North West with host Sheryl McKay.
