It seems as if Alan McCabe just wants to keep reliving his college years.
And why not? The early to mid 90s was the indie rock boom when, inspired by Nirvana, the Seattle grunge scene and other similar isolated incidences, thousands of noisy punkish bands overthrew the rock industry.
McCabe formed his band at Ursinus College, in the Philadelphia area, and while not enjoying any huge commercial success, BBH definitely earned a cult-like following who dug the tunefulness and playful malevolence of the lyrics.
Today McCabe and a new line up resurrect the original songs and new material capturing the same spirit under the shortened name Headflap. McCabe uses the original name when exploring experimental electronic compositions.
