Big Kidd was born in Linstead St Catherine Jamaica. Ever since 4 years of age he has been entertaining. Dancing was his first love but after singing at his schools graduation he then added Dj(reggae artist) to his title. with his influences ranging form Early B,Tenor Saw and Beenie Man just to name a few he was known for his comedic and clever verses,after moving to south Florida at the age of 11, Ryan (aka big kid)won his first talent show he ever entered and then decided music was his calling. While in high school the name "big kid" was given to Ryan by a friend "gilly priest". At lunch gilly priest and Ryan aka "big kid" battled lyrically drawing a crowd while another friend provided the beat by knocking on the vending machines.This became an event for all to see, with big kid being the victor almost every day he began taking on new challengers to name a few popular dancer "popeye caution" was participant.As the years flew by music became an hobby until joining forces with "Dappa Dat" an aspiring producer who he had already knew from the Jamaican dancing club scene, with the likes of "Whitey Orderz" "Jr Taxi" "Zeke Don" and rapper "Soup" the combined talents are now known today as Reggae pop Records.
