Anishka Music

Hailing from the island nation of Sri Lanka, Anishka began singing at a tender age. Her older sister recalls a 3 year old Anishka belting out adult love songs during public bus rides carefree of anyone's thoughts. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 4 and brought her stage personality with her, appearing in acting auditions until she was 9 years old--when her parents thought it was in her best interest to focus on education. While on a hiatus from acting, Anishka realized her passion for music and performing. In high school and college she began performing at local charity events and shows, and since has learned to produce and write her own music.

On Valentine's Day 2012 she released her debut album Happy Endings. The album features 8 tracks including her cover of Rihanna's We Found Love. Her album is available for download on iTunes or at www.MissAnishka.com.
