I started out playing piano when I was 7. Then in high school I learned ukulele, and guitar. Once I learned guitar, I started playing in the street, because I thought I had to start somewhere, and I didn't want to sit in my room or on TV all day. So I went to be heard and meet new people. I had worked for 5 years to get where I am now, and still have a very long way to go. This year my father Arturo Chavarria had past away in April, so I wrote the song "Farwell", for him. I also wrote "I smile" for a friend of mine named Kaitlyn Roman. She had asked me why all of my songs were sad, and said that I should write a song about her being my best friend.
