Ad Boc Music

Ad fronted tuneful Boston bands Jumprope and Miranda Warning through six albums featuring over 50 of his songs, but still has a backlog of over 250 unfinished pop-song fragments to finish and record. Now he's self-composed, performed, and recorded (that's as indie as it gets) his first solo release, Pop Supraliminal, Ad’s one-man-band experiment fulfilled. Having been raised on The Beatles, post-punk, and indiepop, his songs reflect the melody-driven, suitably rough around the edges feeling of those styles, with lyrics that question seemingly every facet of earthly reality. A second album of his earliest tunes, Beginners Only Songs, was released in October, 2011, and he is now working on a third project for 2012.
