Abscond: to run away, usually taking something (or someone) with.

Abscondo is American solo musician who has left Seattle and is now living and creating in Eastern Europe (Slovakia), Abscondo has released two albums in the past year. Both albums can be downloaded for free under the Creative Commons license (see link below).

The artist is also member of the acoustic rock duo Sungod Abscondo. Imperfect People, the band's album debut, was released in 2007. Despite the fact that the band has never toured, tracks were played on dozens of non-commercial radio stations across North America (including KAOS, KJHK, WXOU, WPKN, and KCWR). Sungod Abscondo released their follow-up album in April, 2009 (also via free download).

Abscondo also maintains a deeply-personal weblog (www.abscondo.net) where he contemplates many of the themes familiar to his music.
