I had bought tickets for my Dad for Mr Cockers show at the Casino in Windsor. Unfortunately my father got diagnosed with throat cancer. Dad was unable to attend. Dad and Mom see Mad Dogs and Englishmen in Detroit when my mother worked at the burlesque bar. During the concert it was the first time they had kissed. My father was too ill to attend Mr Cockers concert in Windsor. However, I taped the concert on my video and hooked up my camcorder to the tv at the hospital. Mr Cocker, I do not exaggerate.....my father cried. You have always been his idol. A friend of mine works at the casino and you gave my father an autographed picture of you. My father passed away on the 10th of August 2009. I thank you so much for giving my father that autographed picture. It hung on his wall until he passed. And now,,,,it hangs on my wall.
