Van Halens new single Tattoo, featuring original lead singer David Lee Roth back in the lineup, has hit No 1 on Billboard. According to an article posted today (1/26/12) at Antimusic.com, the lead off track from the veteran hard rockers soon-to-be-released comeback album A Different Kind Of Truth has reached No 1 on the Billboard Rock Songs chart. The song, VHs 1st new studio effort with frontman Diamond Dave since they released the album 1984, has been played on more than 160 stations across the U.S. since its Jan 10 release. Tattoo has also earned the title of #1 Most Played Song at Classic Rock Radio in its 1st week and the No 1 Most Added song at Mainstream and Active Rock Radio.
