I've still got their vinyls from '65 but they don't fit my computer's cd slot. we have some Brian Jones left to us and must treasure that. If the Stones were never the same it was because an essential member of the original group was missing. What might have happened had he lived? would his problems with heroin have damaged the group/ So many groups of the era lost members to the white powders that you had to stand by you're hankie. maybe the early Stones were a different group eh?

Brian Jones was a good guitarist but held Kieth's inventive genius in check when he put his own flavor on Richards' notation. His unfortunate death which the polkice are now treating as suspicious was a tragedy and an opportunity which the Stones were wise enough to take. In music you get better or you get second string.
