I agree tornado...FYI Never Been to Spain, Joy to the World, and I think Mama told me were written by Hoyt Axton no less (Okla boy...Played the Father in the movie "Gremlins" for those that don't recognize the name). Elvis and Waylon also covered Never been to Spain. He also wrote The Pusher, Snowblind Friend (Steppenwolf), The No-No Song (Ringo Starr), Sweet Misery (John Denver), Lightnin' Bar Blues (Arlo Guthrie, Brownsville Station), Greenback Dollar (if you ever listened to Kingston Trio, not many here will have), but if you like The Eagles, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Buffalo Springfield (Crosby, Stills, & Nash therefore), Fleetwood Mac, The Byrds, Mama's and Papa's, Harry Chapin, Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, Big Brother and the Holding Co. (Janis Joplin), Jefferson Airplane, and on and on. I could do this all night lol you owe Kingston Trio/Quartet. Sorry, this started as a response to tornado's remark about underrated musicians Hoyt definitely falls into that category. e and you keep endin' up on the same p
