Hope your mother didn't teach you to hate women,because Miss Coco Rodriguez,a.k.a., Courtney Love is a current manifestation of the archetypal American love goddess,that goes back to at least the 20's with Louise Brooks, Olive Thomas and Clara Bow,through the 50's with Jean Harlow and Marilyn Monroe,through the 60's with Janis and Grace,and the 70' with Bambi Woods and Linda Lovelace. She is successful as a mother,a wife, a bandleader and a sex symbol. She has consistently delivered the goddess goods to the masses. The sex,drugs,death and insanity has simply always been a part of the deal. Just read the libretto to Wagner's 'Tristan and Isolde' or anything by Shakespeare. So,please,don't hate on my 90's grunge goddess.
