First time I saw Willie was 1982 in Laughlin NV at Don Laughlins' Riverside Resort. He was sitting at The Wheel of Fortune bettin the 40 to 1 double 00. We had both been drinking pretty good and all I can say is he is one of the most down to earth people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. That meeting (and Drinking) resulted in being produced by Waylon and Wilie Productions in Austin. In a Band Called "Swing Shift" Eventuall those crazy days got crazier, Age 50 plus got closer, and "Little Daughters" turned into ladies, Mama's went away... to better places. And still the Circle remains unbroken. Daddy's turned Grampa. And the music still sings. There's been hard, Bad times, and no regrets.
