One of their last albums, 1990's Pillow Lips album was an attempt to record an album that fit the POP genre, like their ever famous POP song I Melt with You! A new version of the song was included, but the album was a flop for Modern English! I have it and it's a great album! But the masses liked the old Modern English sound and rejected this POP sounding album! The songs are bright / happy tunes that are like ALL the other POP songs of the 80s/90s! I liked it! Beautiful People and Life's Rich Tapestry are 2 great tracks from the album.
