Sweet! My Bristol friend can make it. However Ticketmaster's online booking system is frustrating to such an extent that it'll be easier by the tickets from one of their outlets!

Finally have the chance to see Basement Jaxx in Hyde Park in July, but no! My flaky friends either have other plans or are uncommitted. Everything rests on my Bristol friend's tentative plans falling through when I check over the weekend to confirm whether he can make it.

I remember hearing Fly-Life around late 96/97 on mix-compilations and when out clubbing. I kinda lost track of Basement Jaxx (c.f. clubbing and certain life-style choices) for quite a number of years, and until briefly appearing on my radar with Red Alert and Rendez-Vu. Typical fashion, lost track of them again, until hearing 'Where's Your Head At' on Kingdom Hospital (Stephen King's adaptation). Only re-discovered them due to Jango and 'Oh My Gosh' is my new dating (meeting women) theme tune! Cheers Jango!
