Jango does have a version of it by a hot [p-s-s-s-s-s-t], long in the tooth Bluegrass group called the Kentucky Colonels.

I'm not old enough to remember Woody Herman from my own experience with Big Band music but my mother's old 78 collection and an NPR program called "Swingin' Down the Lane" introduced me to him. MY FAVORITE WOODY HERMAN SONG IS FAREWELL BLUES and Jango doesn't have it. Sigh!
